Human connection and integrated support!
Hi, I'm D'Anya!
A SoCal native - Los Angeles born and Carson, CA raised. I attended pre-school in Iran, went to college in Virginia, moved to Alaska shortly after graduation and finally returned home when I decided it was time to focus on a career. During my first year in college I was a biology major, to fulfill the dreams of my parents. I had a strong adoration for the art of communication and philosophical juris prudence, so I eventually decided to obtain a degree in English/Pre-Law. I thought that I would become a journalist or attend law school. Instead, I moved to Alaska and worked for a non-profit organization responding to statewide emergencies and teaching courses in safety. It was one of the absolute best times of my life and I realized that I had a passion for people - watching people, helping people, meeting people, and listening to people's stories. I didn't know what to do with that passion professionally, so I embarked on a successful 25 year (and counting) career managing clinical trials - In academia (universities), with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), and with Big Pharma. In 2015 on my way to work I told my mother, during one of our typical morning phone calls, that I wanted to do something more. "You need to do what you are commissioned to do," she told me. My response, "I'm commissioned to connect".
Welcome to A Village Network!
